Sanjiva Goyal, M.D., FAAD
board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon practicing pediatric, adult and cosmetic dermatology, as well as performing skin cancer exams and treatments.
Dr. Goyal is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds affiliations with the Florida Society of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Medical Association and American Medical Association.
Graduating with top honors from the University of Leeds Medical School, England, Dr. Goyal completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, his dermatology residency at the prestigious Cook County Hospital, Chicago, and a research fellowship at Northwestern University, Chicago. Dr. Goyal received training in cutaneous laser surgery by world-renowned laser pioneers, Kenneth A. Arndt, MD and Jeffrey S. Dover, MD at Harvard Medical School. After completing his residency, Dr. Goyal was appointed the clinic director, Department of Dermatology, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. In August 2000, he joined Mayo Clinic Jacksonville as Senior Associate Consultant in Dermatology.
In January 2003, Dr. Goyal opened his private practice with a focus on providing quality dermatologic care with the utmost integrity. His state-of-the-art facilities at both the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach locations offer an expansive list of services and incorporate full-spectrum medical spas for optimal patient care and convenience. He continues to follow his passion for medical and surgical dermatology, with a special interest in non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as neurotoxins (Botox / Dysport), fillers, Kybella and laser. He was one of the pioneers of PDO threads in the Jacksonville area and has now performed multiple PDO procedures. Dr Goyal is one of a couple of physicians in our area who performs the authentic Vaser liposelection (ultrasound-assisted liposuction) procedure.
In his free time, Dr. Goyal enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He also enjoys playing tennis with his sons and watching them play sports.

Certified Physician Assistant Who Specializes In Dermatology
She attended University of Florida during her undergraduate career and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Health Science degree. She then attended University of South Florida where she received her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Honor Society for her academic achievements, public service, and leadership.
Kayleigh is a Jacksonville native and returned home after completing her schooling to serve the community that she grew up in. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her soon-to-be husband, walking her Labrador Retriever, Gauge, and spending time with her family fishing and diving.
Kayleigh is passionate about dermatology and educating patients on preventative practices along with various conditions of the skin. She enjoys treating conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. She enjoys partnering with patients to find customized treatment plans and preventative lifestyle changes.
Katherine Wiley Poindexter, PA-C

Katherine Wiley Poindexter, graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After undergrad she completed a Master of Science in Nutrition and a dietetic internship at the University of North Florida. She then went on to PA school at Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant program in Orlando, FL where she earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating with highest honors.
Katherine developed a special interest in dermatology for numerous reasons, including the impact skin cancer has had on her family and the need to have a concerning lesion on her back biopsied. These experiences made her appreciate the importance of regular skin checks to prevent serious complications from skin cancer. Katherine’s daughter was diagnosed with eczema when she was just a month old. As a result, Katherine and her family have gained first-hand experience managing this life-altering condition and other pediatric skin issues on a daily basis. Due to this experience she has developed a special interest in the management of eczema as well as other pediatric skin disorders. Katherine also enjoys helping patients suffering from acne, rosacea, dermatitis and psoriasis.
Katherine has a passion for dermatology and takes great pride in providing high quality care to patients of all ages and helping her patients look and feel their best. Katherine is also a registered dietitian and has an interest in how nutrition impacts overall health and plays a role in various skin conditions. Katherine is married with one daughter and enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking, reading, and being active.
Allison Teague, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant Who Specializes In Dermatology
Allison Teague, graduated from Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor ‘s in Biology. She then went on to PA school at University of Arkansas for Medical Science Physician Assistant program in Little Rock, AR where she earned a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies where she served on the student leadership board.
She developed a special interest in dermatology early on in life through her personal experience and this passion continued on during her education. She enjoys educating patient’s on healthy skin practices and developing treatment plans for a wide variety of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. Allison has a heart for providing intentional care for her patients.
Allison enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their goldendoodle, Olive. Her hobbies include spending a relaxing day at the beach and trying out new and delicious recipes.
Tania Hanania
A native of Jacksonville and has been part of the Coastal Dermatology family since 2008.
Tania Hanania, is a Jacksonville native and has been part of the Coastal Dermatology family since 2008. She has worked as Dr. Goyal's medical assistant since 2010 for all medical, surgical and cosmetic procedures. To further her special interest in improving the health and appearance of the skin, she decided to become a licensed medical aesthetician in 2012.
Tania is able to advise you on the best physician grade products for your skin type, as well as rejuvenate your skin with facials, microdermabrasion’s, chemical peels, micro-needling and radio frequency skin tightening. Having worked extensively with Dr. Goyal for several year now, she is also able to recommend other appropriate cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, IPL and laser treatments, and Vaser Liposelection.
Helping others acquire beautiful skin is her top priority and she is passionate about making others feel confident in their appearance to increase their self-esteem. She has the knowledge and experience you need to achieve younger healthier looking skin. She offers free consultations for all your cosmetic needs.
When not working she focuses mainly on precious time spent with her husband, two children and being with friends and family. She also enjoys traveling, shopping, baking, and entertaining.
Bina Patel
As the Practice Manager, Bina is involved in all of the day-to-day office operations at Coastal Dermatology. Graduating from her medical assistant program in 1988.
Her first job as a medical assistant (MA) was for a dermatology practice in Fountain Valley, California where after 2 years as a MA, she was promoted to the office manager. Bina joined Coastal Dermatology in 2007 and worked initially as a medical assistant, then became the assistant office manager and office manager soon thereafter. She has over 25 years of experience in medical assisting and 15 years of hands-on practice management.
Bina was born in Wembley, England and grew up in southern California. She eventually settled with her husband and 3 kids in Jacksonville, Florida and has been with our office for 13 years.
With a continuing passion for the dermatology industry, Bina is always looking for ways to improve procedures, integrate new devices and overall, develop the practice with modern capabilities. Her hard work and dedication has been her forte. Under her management, she has implemented various procedures and services for Coastal Dermatology. This has enabled the practice to grow in terms of efficiency and improved patient care.
In her spare time, Bina loves to spend time with her 3 children when they visit from college and graduate school. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Cooper, and husband, when she is not catching the latest Bollywood movie with her girlfriends.
