Dr. Sanjiva Goyal, M.D.

Sanjiva Goyal, M.D., FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon practicing pediatric, adult and cosmetic dermatology, as well as performing skin cancer exams and treatments. Dr. Goyal is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds affiliations with the Florida Soceity of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, Florida Medical Association and American Medical Association.

Graduating with top honors from the University of Leeds Medical School, England, Dr. Goyal completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, his dermatology residency at the prestigious Cook County Hopsital, Chicago, and a research fellowship at Northwestern University, Chicago. Dr. Goyal received training in cutaneous laser surgery by world-renowned laser pioneers, Kenneth A. Arndt, MD and Jeffrey S. Dover, MD at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Goyal then became appointed as clinic director, Department of Dermatology, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. Later, he was named as Senior Associate Consultant in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville.

In January 2003, Dr. Goyal entered private practice with a focus on providing quality dermatologic care with the utmost integrity. His state-of-the-art facilities at both the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach locations offer an expansive list of services and incorporate full-spectrum medical spas for optimal patient care and convenience.
 

Hector Gonzalez, PA-C, MPAS, received a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University, Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Sciences from St. Francis University, and Master of Physician Assistant Sciences from University of Iowa. Now a retired U.S. Navy service member, Mr. Gonzalez focused his naval career on providing caring and compassionate general medical and dermatologic care to military members and families. He is proud to have practiced at San Diego Naval Medical Center, Great Lakes Naval Hospital and Jacksonville Naval Hospital. As a civilian, Mr. Gonzalez has maintained his interest in dermatology and is an instructor at Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program, Jacksonville.

Mr. Gonzalez enjoys all aspects of dermatology and has extensive experience in treating disorders such as psoriasis and vitiligo with a state-of-the-art excimer laser. He has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology and enjoys restoring a youthful appearance with Botox and facial fillers. Mr. Gonzalez welcomes adult and pediatric patients and also offers evening hour appointments for busy families.

Kristine Anderson, PA-C, is a NCCPA certified physician assistant who provides all aspects of dermatologic care to adult and pediatric patients. Ms. Anderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with a focus in Athletic Training from Keene State College, and a Masters of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, Jacksonville.  Ms. Anderson is a current member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, the Florida Association of Physician Assistant as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

She has a particular interest in medical dermatology, including skin cancer screenings, management of acne & rosacea, and treatment of various inflammatory dermatoses such as psoriasis and eczema.  Ms. Anderson likes to build and maintain an excellent rapport with her patients and believes in educating all her patients about their skin and any dermatologic conditions they may have.

Our Aestheticians 

A native of Valencia, Spain, Debbie Perez joined Coastal Dermatology in 2006. Bringing a special interest in diseases of the skin, Debbie also began to focus on proper skin care and pampering to extend the youthful and healthy appearance of the skin. Under the guidance of Dr. Sanjiva Goyal, she received specialized knowledge and training, culminating in state certification to provide services as a licensed medical aesthetician.

Debbie's philosophy toward skin is one of nurture combined with the use of organic or physician grade products to effectively achieve skin vitality. She believes strongly in
educating her clients and working together to achieve optimal and realistic results.
